Loft conversion and internal renovations to a Victorian terraced family house.

The design uses colour and natural and artificial lighting to enhance the spatial qualities between rooms and floors. A mezzanine level loft space was created as part of the extensive interior renovations. Original features were carefully restored to contrast with modern interventions with industrial influences. The renovation features the use of like-for-like materials in sensitive areas. The finishes make use of ecologically sensitive materials and natural, breathable paints and varnishes.
