Carbon-neutral eco pub, Marylebone, London

Redevelopment of an existing pub to a carbon-neutral gastro bar/restaurant which resonated with our philosophy for sustainable design.

We devised a new layout for this five-storey corner Victorian building in the Marylebone Conservation Area. Planned was a new bar area on the ground floor together with a mezzanine restaurant on the first floor and a function/wine tasting room in the basement. The proposals included the conversion of the upper two floors to hotel rooms that would be accessed through a new separate side entrance at street level.
